Saleena Khamamkar is classically trained in Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, jazz, and contemporary styles. She brings a new, holistic take on fusion: connecting universal basics of dance and focusing on natural shapes the body can make. With well-thought-out and precise movements, she allows her various training styles to influence her choreography and highlight the intricacies of human voice.
Most recently, Saleena choreographed for Saleka Shaymalan in 5 dance-centric R&B music videos (produced by M. Night Shyamalan), was a featured dancer in Busta Rhymes x Pharrell “TINGS” Music Video, and a featured dancer in Jason Derulo x Tesher “Jalebi Baby” Music Video. She currently teaches movement coaching, Bollywood technique, Bharatanatyam basics, and semi-classical dance classes to all ages.
Currently, Saleena is Director of SaleenaKhoreo, was just featured in the “I Love R&B” festival, and is Assistant Director of Nazaara Dance (now performing at Disneyland California Adventure for Festival of Holidays 2024)! She currently teaches competition technical bollywood at Dance Dimenions Performing Arts Center.
SaleenaKhoreo specializes in Bollywood Fusion dance classes, live performances, and choreography services for weddings.
